Resurgence Exhibition June 2007 curated by purple dot. http://www.circlepurple.co.uk/76.html Installation OFFICE was located within one of Seaward Properties refurbished offices at Langstone Gate. The work utilised the context of the site and the (part) business audience. Installation OFFICE was a re-representation of elements from SPIKE 2 and Office Investigations; process based works. OFFICE re-created an office environment where a computer constantly generated imagery of paper. This was juxtaposed to SPIKE 2, visualising paper waste. A notice board and image completed the installation and reference the human interaction and data relating to office work. OFFICE at Resurgence. A review by Natalie Dowse. |
